Donating from USA

The CGS Foundation is an affiliate of the Australian Universities & Schools USA Foundation (AUSUSA). Through this affiliation, those within the Canberra Grammar School community who pay USA income tax are able to make tax-deductible gifts to the CGS Foundation.

Simply nominate CGS as your beneficiary when making a gift through the AUSUSA Foundation and funds will be paid out to the CGS Foundation on a biannual basis. All gifts are tax-deductible for US taxpayers, who will receive a gift receipt from the AISUSA Foundation that may be used for taxation purposes.

Gifts to CGS through the AUSUSA Foundation can take a variety of forms including cash, stock, charitable gift funds and private or corporate grants. Please ensure you check with your employer whether your company has a matching gift policy, a simple process which can double or even triple your gift to CGS.
